Job description:

Conducts guided tours and educational programs in costume with groups of varying ages, from children to senior citizens, educates visitors about Moravian history, answers visitor questions and provides directions; acts as security for the museum’s collection and buildings; serves as gift shop sales staff; does related work as required.

Job Requirements

Education, training, experience:

Minimum high school degree required; experience working in the field of education or working with children in an educational setting; experience in public contact, ability to work independently and as a team; interest in history and natural science.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Period costume is provided (excluding shoes)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to maneuver up to 1 mile and be able to work with small and large objects; must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time when needed (1 hour or more), must possess good communication skills; should have energetic personality and a fresh perspective.
